• Antibiotics are classified by category, route of administration, and the AWaRe Classification.
  Details of the AWaRe Classification are as follows:
  
  • Lists of the AWaRe Classification (Excel sheets)
• Defined daily dose (DDD), which is a measure of drug consumption, is according to data published on January 1, 2017.

For 2022, the August 1 population is used; it will be replaced when the October 1 population is published and minor changes to the figures are expected.
